After installing PHP 4.33, Apache2, libpng, libjpeg and a few other dependencies, it seems that the RedHat 7.3 Domino 6.0.3 server began to experience slow HTTP performance. So, I cannot say that RedHat 9.0 by itself was causing the problem. Nonetheless, we now have another RedHat 7.3 server with only Domino installed that works fine.
